Introduction
Educational systems and their governing activities have always been subject to change and transformation, as the evolution of education is a consequence of social development and advances in science and technology. In today’s advanced and complex societies, the pace of transformation in educational systems is so rapid that every few years a fundamental change occurs in their structure. Therefore, supervision, review, and reform of educational methods are inevitable. As we know, education is a two-way activity between the instructor and the learner, under the guidance of the instructor, aiming to create relatively stable changes in three domains: knowledge, attitude, and skills.
Centers for Studies and Development of Medical Education (EDC) and Offices for Development of Medical Education (EDO) have been established as hubs of thought and innovation to enhance the quality of education in universities and faculties of medical sciences and health services across the country. These centers carry out diverse activities in line with their mission and objectives.
